Fastfind & FastfindPlus with 406MHz Personal Location Beacons

The Fastfind Plus is a revolutionary hand-held Personal Locator Beacon that features a built-in GPS (Global Positional System) receiver combined with a 406 MHz transmitter and 121.5 MHz homing signal.  It is ideal for alerting the rescue services of an emergence during maritime, light aircraft and outdoor activities. (where licensing allows).

When activated, the Fastfind Plus with intergral GPS provides a 406 MHz alert signal via the COSPAS-SARSAT satelite system.  There is a visual indication of GPS acquisition Fasterfind Pus also transmits on the International Aircratf Emergence Frequency of 121.5 MHz providing a homing signal for the Search And Rescue (SAR) services.  A built-in self-test facility includes testing of the 406 MHz and 121.5 MHz signal (where permitted) and GPS power up.
