Aurora Orange Handsmoke

Manoverboard Smoke Marker 360r 360

Day & Night Signal

Lifesmoke Mk5

Aurora Orange Handsmoke

Australian Standards Approved

Particularly suitable for yachts, powerboats and personal watercraft (PWC's). The Aurora hand-held signal produces a dense orange smoke for daylight distress signalling.

The new signal has a hollow plastic handle so that it can be raised on a pole or fishing rod for improved chances of being seen at a greater distance.

Aurora flares are waterproof with the steel tubes able to be subjected to water and moisture without affecting the performance or operation of the flares.

The new Threaded screw on caps are made from orange plastic and have a raised "O" on the caps, this being the recognised tactile for orange. The tactile enables easy identification in the dark.

When the cap is screwed off, a yellow plastic pull grip pops up making firing the ignition system simple and easy. Easy to follow diagrams are printed clearly on the outside of the flare.

Day & Night Signal

A very compact personal survival signal incorporating a red flare at one end (for use at night), and a dense orange smoke at the other (for daylight). The flare end is ribbed to aid identification at night, and both ends are fully waterproofed with 'O' ring seals. Either end can be fired independently and the signal can be doused in water after firing, allowing the unused end to be stowed until required. Ideal for divers. Burning times: Red Flare: 20 seconds at 10,000 candela. Orange smoke: 18 seconds minimum.

A custom designed dive canister is available to enable the carriage of the Day & Night Signal to a depth of 150 metres
