Seamark™
Fluorescent Marine Dye Marker
Distress Signal Search & Rescue Marker| Instant Acting | Highly visible | Buoyant | Long Lasting

SEAMARK is a new concept in marine dye markers used for daytime emergency distress signaling and search and rescue marking. It was developed in the commonwealth of Australia’s DSTO Materials Research Laboratory, and is far superior to any previous dye marker. The unique feature of SEAMARK is that the fluorescein is bonded in a buoyant water soluble matrix allowing a rapid surface spread over a large area and slow release on the water surface where maximum U.V. light activation of the fluorescein assures a brilliant spotting mark. A person in distress scatters SEAMARK on the water when a potential rescue vessel or aircraft appears. It is brilliantly visible as a distress signal for up to an hour, and in good visibility can be seen by aircraft over 10km away. A man overboard should immediately deploy SEAMARK to guide the returning vessel.
Because of its high efficiency, compact packs of SEAMARK are available to suit all boats, yachts and survival craft, as well as snorkelers, divers, sailboarders, jet-skiers and over-water aviators. It can be placed in pockets, pouches and distress kits, or attached to lifebuoys, lifejackets or equipment. Click her for further product information
